Frequently Asked Questions

Have Questions? We're here to help!

How does the book vending machine program work? Inchy’s Bookworm Vending Machine™ operates on a positive reward-based system to inspire students to read more. Schools and organizations can purchase the bookworm and customize the positive behaviors they want to reward, based on their specific needs. When a student demonstrates the desired behavior, they are rewarded with a special Inchy token, which they can then use to purchase their favorite book.
Our aim is to bridge the gap between literacy and engagement, transforming reading into a rewarding experience rather than a mere assignment.
Where do I get the books for my book vending machine? Once you submit a quote request, we will be happy to provide you with a planogram that includes the appropriate sizes and capacity totals based on the specific tray configuration you have.
How does service work for my book vending machine? Our service department is equipped with a dedicated help desk to provide prompt assistance for any queries you may have.
Additionally, we offer a comprehensive video guide that addresses common questions, along with the option to connect with a live service technician via facetime to address any concerns directly at your machine.
Furthermore, we provide extended warranty options of up to five years for your bookworm.
How does the custom design process work? After you have placed your order, our design team will reach out to you with instructions to begin the process. They will request that you log in to our art portal and provide some basic information such as digital files, school logos, colors, and any specific ideas or preferences you may have. This step typically takes around 15-20 minutes.
Once we have received your input, our design team will create the initial proof and send it to you for approval. We will not proceed with printing until we have your confirmation, and we are more than happy to make revisions beyond the first proof if needed.
How can I fund my book vending machine? We have partnered with a diverse range of organizations to support our mission.
DonorsChoose, a highly popular fundraising organization, occasionally provides matching funds to amplify the impact of donations.
In addition, we have collaborated with wonderful institutions such as the Education Foundation, United Way, and Save the Children. Generous contributions from the Kiwanis Club and Boys and Girls Club have also enabled us to provide schools with much-needed machines.
Moreover, there are funding opportunities available through Title One, Esser, and regional literacy grants. Our efforts have been greatly supported by PTO/PTA organizations, who have tirelessly worked to ensure schools receive these machines and the accompanying books.
